As the new year approaches, we’re busy preparing for another year of ministry at Harvey Cedars Bible Conference.
Many of our guests participate in our summer youth and family events or come on church retreats, but we also host weekend and midweek conferences all year long!
Winter Chill: A Weekend Youth Retreat without the planning Stress
2027 marks five years of our Winter Chill youth retreat, and God continues to bless it! Students need time to rest and reconnect with God in the middle of the busy school year.
Winter Chill brings church youth groups together with speakers and activities pre-planned. Join Wayne Morgan & Drew Wagner for a meaningful, uplifting experience with Christ!
Reflective Prayer Retreats: Rest, Reset, and Realign
These quiet personal retreats feature guided devotionals, worship, and space for reflection. This is a wonderful opportunity for ministry leaders or any individual to get away to a quiet place to pray for the upcoming year.
Couples Weekend: A February option!
We now have a second Couples Weekend option! Spend Valentine’s Day weekend growing together in God’s word and having lots of fun and fellowship with other couples. Bruce & Karen McCracken will be returning as this year’s speakers.
Alumni & Family Weekend: For our past staff friends
Many who have served on our Summer Staff testify that those years were some of the best summers of their lives. We love to stay connected with our staff alumni! That’s why we have Alumni & Family Weekend: a retreat for past staff to return to the shore and bring their families and friends. Come and reconnect with old friends and make some new ones!
Faithful Shepherd & Youth Leader Summit: Shepherding Shepherds
Pastors have some of the most important work to do and shouldn’t have to do it alone. The Faithful Shepherd Pastors’ Retreat and Youth Leader Summit in May exist to help ministry leaders get refreshed for the upcoming summer and equip them to serve well. It’s a beautiful time of year at our conference center and quite an enriching time!
An Extended Summer
Every five years or so, the calendar allows us to add a Bonus Family Week in August for two consecutive years. 2026 and 2027 are those years! August 23 to 29, enjoy the same week-long programming as other weeks with pastors Joe Snyder and Tim Doering speaking and Dianne Wolf leading worship.
Last year, we added a June Sr. High Week, which is here to stay! God does amazing things in the lives of teenagers who come here for summer camp, and this allows for even more opportunities for youth groups to participate. Please note that as a result, the Homeschool Family Week and June Jr. High Week have moved a week earlier as of 2026. Please plan accordingly!
Find more details and registration information about any of these events at our newly updated Event Calendar page. We look forward to seeing and serving you!
