Pastors Rested and Renewed at the Faithful Shepherd Retreat

This week, we hosted dozens of pastors, ministry leaders, and spouses at the Faithful Shepherd retreat with our friends at P&R Publishing. This year’s theme was Rest and Renewal, focusing on the shepherds’ need to participate in the spiritual discipline of rest as a way of living in the image of their creator.

What is the Faithful Shepherd retreat?

The Faithful Shepherd retreat at Harvey Cedars is a friendly, personal, and relaxed event for pastors, elders, ministry leaders, and their spouses. It’s a two-night, Monday to Wednesday retreat that offers the opportunity to rest, connect with like-minded ministers, and enjoy God’s creation by the beautiful late-spring shore.

While here, church leaders and their spouses get to interact with one another over insightful sessions and all-included meals to gain and share practical wisdom and encouragement. It’s a huge blessing for those dealing with discouragement and weariness.
