Maintenance Crew’s 2022 Accomplishments
Facilities Director Ken Maxwell recently shared a list of his department’s accomplishments with the Board of Trustees at their October meeting.
The crew’s hard work, combined with your prayer and financial support and volunteer groups throughout the year, make for quite a list of achievements each year.
Besides the regular maintenance of grounds, buildings, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems, here are some highlights of improvements from this year!
Bayview Lodge: Installed new flooring and furniture in several rooms; installed new railings; painted trim, soffit, and beams on a large portion of waterfront side
Dining Room & Kitchen: Installed flooring in the West Addition; replaced evaporation coil in the freezer and compressor in the refrigerator; rebuilt trash compactor
Oldham Chapel: Replaced old plywood on back gable end with AZEK siding
Pool: Installed ADA-compliant chair (many thanks, donor!) and new heater
Victorian Hotel: Replaced porch roofing; completed foundation work; installed new support beams under The Canteen
