Welcoming Russ Allen to the Board of Trustees

Our Board of Trustees is blessed to have Russ Allen as its newest member!

Russ joined West Shore Free Church in Mechanicsburg, PA in 2018. As Student Ministries Pastor, he oversees young adults in college and high school ministries. He’s passionate about sharing the gospel with the next generation and leading them into a joy-filled, faithful walk with Christ.

Russ has a Doctor of Education degree from Liberty University, where he studied the worldview of Christian students at public high schools. He also has an M.A. in religious history, a B.A. from Dickinson College, and a certificate in apologetics from Biola University.

For several years, Russ has accompanied West Shore’s youth to Harvey Cedars in the summer. He has firsthand knowledge and experience about HCBC’s goal to bring young people to Christ.

Russ, his wife Lauren, and their two daughters reside in Mechanicsburg. For fun, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, writing, and playing sports.

He’s a published author having written for several Christian magazines and authored his own book, The Bonny Lane Club, chronicling his story of “fitness, friendship, and faith forged through struggle, suffering, and strength.”

HCBC is honored to have Russ bring his insights to our ministry and the overall needs of the conference.
